Keeping Tabs on My StatusIn the continued campaign against the evil spammers here at SquidTop, I’ve just done a massive purge of spam comments from everyone’s blogs. I’ve also disabled the ‘trackback’ functionality, so you should hopefully see much less of it in the future too.
Let me know if you have any problems or issues because of this.
Hey all! Just an update to let you all know that we took the flamethrower to the spam that was starting to crop up on Squidtop.
We’re in the process of deleting nearly 30,000 (!) fake blogs that have been started in the last two months so squidtop might not load as fast in the next few hours but you guys should see some big improvements in load times moving forward.
Next up: an RSS feed of the front page ‘recent posts’ as well as some more themes for you all to use!

We’re going to do a massive upgrade of the entire site and we also plan on adding a few new features and such. So, the site will be down for a wee bit tonight while we work on this. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it will be worth it in the long run!
