30,000 little pests Exterminated

Hey all! Just an update to let you all know that we took the flamethrower to the spam that was starting to crop up on Squidtop.

We’re in the process of deleting nearly 30,000 (!) fake blogs that have been started in the last two months so squidtop might not load as fast in the next few hours but you guys should see some big improvements in load times moving forward.

Next up: an RSS feed of the front page ‘recent posts’ as well as some more themes for you all to use!

    Thanks so much… I’ll bet that was a huge job, to delete all the spam blogs. What will spammers think of next?
